Set of 8 Vintage AMERICAN OF MARTINSVILLE Chippendale High-Back Dining Armchairs
Their design takes cues from the Chippendale and Georgian tradition, with a tall, gently flared upholstered back and a shaped crest rail. The sculptural arms are the real draw: they sweep in a serpentine curve and finish in carved, fluted scrolls that read almost like hands resting on the arm supports. The straight, molded square legs with box stretchers keep the look grounded and traditional.
The chairs are upholstered in a woven teal fabric with a diamond lattice pattern and small blush-pink accent dots, a very 1980s–90s palette that is having a real moment again. The upholstery is clean and the seats are firm. The back panel is upholstered on both sides, so the chairs look finished from every angle.
