Gerald Thurston's (American, 1914 - ) elegant 1960's mid-century modern floor lamp was designed for Laurel Lamp Co. and fits into
virtually any environment. The lamp's tulip-like form is topped with a hand-blown frosted glass shade made in Italy and it retains
the original Laurel label. The shade is enveloped by an asymmetrical aluminum cup and supported by a slender brass column
and ending in a brass.
