Large GAIL MARKIEWICZ Patchwork Heart Vase
Like a patchwork quilt in clay, this vase is replete with color and texture. In an intensive multi-step process,
the artist rolls out and imprints individual pieces of clay, "stitches" them together with slip, then shapes them into a
sculptural vessel. The piece is then airbrushed and hand painted with vibrant glazes. Each piece is unique.
