Rare Pair of 1970 George Zee & Co Hand Carved Rosewood Armchairs
George Zee founded his business in Shanghai in the 1930s before moving to Hong Kong in 1949. The company specialized in very fine quality Anglo-Chinese furniture, often using solid teak, or rosewood that was kiln-dried to prevent splitting or warping in different climates.

Condition
In good, structurally sound, and sturdy condition with no smells. stains or soiling of fabric. Frames are also in good condition with one small retouched spot on the upper left top as shown in last 2 photos.
