Elegant Vernis Martin French-style vitrine display cabinet featuring richly figured wood veneer, elaborate gold-tone bronze mounts, and a colorful hand-painted pastoral scene on the lower door panel.
The glass-front door and glazed sides beautifully showcase the interior, which includes two glass shelves and a neutral fabric-lined back. Decorative figural medallions, ribbon-and-bow motifs, and garland swags embellish the upper front and sides, while scrolling metal trim frames the glass panels. A shaped cornice, molded base, and tapered, fluted legs complete the refined silhouette.
The lower front panel depicts a seated woman with a sheep in a garden setting, adding a romantic accent to the warm wood tones. At just 21 inches wide and 12 inches deep, this cabinet offers an elegant display solution for a smaller room, entryway, or intimate seating area.
Ideal for displaying porcelain, art glass, small sculptures, or treasured collectibles.
Very good condition with a working lock and key included.
