Set of 4 Captain's Barstools With Distressed Cognac Leather and Barley-Twist Hardwood Bases
A handsome matching set of four high-top arm barstools in the Old World / Spanish Revival taste, built for a home bar, kitchen island, or game room.
Each stool features a curved barrel backrest that flows into padded armrests — a comfortable, enveloping "captain's chair" profile. Seats and backs are upholstered in genuine distressed pull-up leather in a rich cognac chestnut tone with natural creasing, marbling, and a warm vintage patina that only improves with use. Antiqued nailhead trim wraps the full perimeter of the seat frame, and the fully upholstered backs look finished from every angle — ideal for open-concept spaces.
The hardwood base has a warm amber satin finish with light factory distressing. Front legs are hand-turned in a classic barley-twist design with ring turnings and tapered feet, joined by a four-sided stretcher base. The front foot rail includes a protective metal kickplate, a thoughtful detail that speaks to the build quality. Rear legs are gently splayed square-cut hardwood for stability.
Condition: Very good pre-owned condition. Leather shows gentle, desirable wear and creasing consistent with light use — no tears or rips. Wood frames are sturdy with no loose joinery, and the nailhead trim is fully intact. Minor surface scuffs consistent with normal use.
