Arms that are integrated into the upholstered shell rather than attached separately.
Built-in tapered Walnut legs that emerge directly from the frame instead of being screwed-on legs.
Tight upholstery over a highly shaped frame.
Continuous piping tracing the entire silhouette.
Clip on straps that keep the cushions in place.

These are very well made, solid and heavy chairs.

Condition
In good, structurally sound, and sturdy condition with no smells. There are stains and they need professional cleaning or new upholstery (recommended).  We have not tried to clean them.
